Local Wally (the woodlands/242 in TX), has not seen stock replenished in WWB .45 in a week or two. They had 2 UMC 250 round mega packs and 1 box of WWB in hollow point. I took the WWB to break in my new Kimber. ...I'm wanting to think I paid around $23/box (could be a dollar or two off, don't have the receipt with me).

Picked up a box of Federal Champion 45 today at wally for 17.47.Better stock up before the shelves are bare with the chance of getting 4 more yrs of more change again

Hey guys is it true that the USA45AVP WWB 45 100rd value pack at Wal-Mart is really now flat-nose? That's what the Winchester site now says and also the velocity being 910fps instead of 835..

Does this mean that the WWB 45 that everyone is long used to shooting is now only available as Q4170 in 50rd boxes?

Flatnose is 185gr. Roundnose is 230gr. Thus the difference in velocity.

^^ The Winchester website explicitly says "45 AUTOMATIC 230 GR. USA FULL METAL JACKET - FLAT NOSE" Under the USA45AVP part number. The 185gr is USA45A.

on the flip side, I bought 2 50rnd boxes of Federal FMJ for about 1-2 dollars less than what they HAD the WWB FMJ.

might have to look into reloading. or finding someone to reload for me.

Just picked up 2 boxes of WWB 100 per for $35.xx each in central Florida. Both boxes have round noses.

Bought 2 100rnd boxes today at WM with the USA45AVP markings but when I opened the box they were round nose. They did show the correct muzzle velocity for the round nose (835). 36.97 a box.

Was in the local WM here in Forsyth County, GA today and the price for a box of 100 WWB has gone from $31.97 to $36.97 (plus tax of course).

So they've finally gone over the price point where it's now more cost-effective to buy online now even when you factor in shipping.

I just went to one of the two local Wally Worlds here in Southern NH and saw all the 100 pack WWB gone and replaced with a few Remington UMC 50 packs in green boxes for $20 (no tax in NH). I had seen the UMC brand in the yellow and black boxes but not these.



They DID have one box of WWB hollow points but they always do. I think it's the same box.

Yep, our local Walmart, Ft. Worth, Texas, is up to $36.97 for the 100 round box of WWB also, but they did actually have some in stock. I wonder why?

Picked up a box of 100 WWB Friday in Plano, Il. Only had two behind the counter. Paid $36.97 which seems about $4.00 higher than the last time. My local Walmart in Aurora is always out of stock, either that or I'm just too late.

The new Rural Kimg in Plano carries box ammo but the pickens is slim and the price is higher than the Walmart next door.

I have used this, not a big fan of the "green box". I have experienced several jams in more than one firearm.

I made a trip to my local Walmart today and picked up 3 45ACP 100 round packs of WWB for 36.97 a box. My local hardware storm has started selling ammo but they do not have much and everything is high except for 25 round packs of shotgun ammo. 31.99 for a 50 round box at the hardware store versus the 36.97 for 100 round box at Walmart.

Went to Wally world today and picked up Rem. 230 gr JHP 100 ct for 46.35. Wereout of everything else other than 230 gr FMJ.
