Had this for awhile but I just don't seem to like it. My biggest issue with it is the finish, I really like the "Pride of Ownership" of owning a weapon but with this ones it seems Kimber didn't spend enough time finishing this gun. Needless to say its gone, but I figured I'd share pictures.

Seems like a nice looking piece? What was it that you didnt like about? Was the finish really that bad?

It's hard to explain, say it was paint, it looks like they only put one coat on it. Its thicker in some spots and spotty in others. Um, Ok what??

Do you like the gun otherwise? It would cost you more to get a new gun than it would to refinish it.

If you felt there was a problem with the finish, you should have contacted Kimber. Since you have already disposed of the pistol, it's a dead issue.

$150-$200 would have bought you a NICE professional Cerakote job on it. Shame to toss such a fine pistol over something that is an easy fix.

Yea I agree with jsweene. Why not just refinish it, I mean if it worked and the only thing wrong with it was the cosmetics then you should have kept it.

I got rid of it a replaced it with a much better gun. Dan Wesson. Why would a guy spend $1,000 on a gun only to have to spend another $200 for a refinish job.

You should have contacted Kimber and expressed your concerns. Posting pics of a gun you've already sold/traded only to complain is a sideways way of posting a grievance.

Congratulations on the Dan Wesson. I truly hope you enjoy it. They do make nice guns.
