Im down to $630 left on my cdp ultra ii layaway. Im an ammoholic. I only get to shoot weekends but have shot about 1700 rounds in the past 6 weeks. I have to take the weekend off to shoot in the belt fed department so I may stock up to go the fallowing weekend.
I visit and handle it every time I go in. Then next up is my sig scorpion.

+1 on change the grips and buy plenty of ammo. The only thing I have done to my Compact CDP II is frog lube it to death (including the magazine), change the grips (VZ Grips) and shoot the snot out of it.
