New to me Caspian 38 Super Race Gun to Limited Modification - Before Photos
Hi all,
I just purchased a used Caspian 38 Super race gun. It's a beauty, but it is a little dated, particularly the scope. I've decided to retrofit the gun since I prefer competing in the limited to the open class. Anyway, here are some BEFORE shots. The gun is with my local and super-talented gunsmith Eric Zinn. We're going to install front and rear sights, shorten the compensator, flatten the top, and clean up the scope mount holes. It will be a beauty. I post some after shots after a few weeks too. Let me know if you have any suggestions. ![]() photo by ABD37, on Flickr ![]() IMG_1268 by ABD37, on Flickr ![]() Before1 by ABD37, on Flickr ![]() IMG_1303 by ABD37, on Flickr

If you shorten the comp, you will still be shooting in open. If you ditch the comp, but keep the same caliber, you will be shooting limited minor. I just don't get it.
Put a C-More on it and shoot open. Or sell it and get the limited gun you want.

Here's my older one [new to me] that's going back to into competition.
