STI magazines
If you order an STI 9mm Edge order all the mags you want along with it. I purchased an Edge 6 weeks ago along with 2 additional magazines. I received the Edge but mags are still on backorder and the guy I bought the Edge from says he is still waiting to fill orders from November. I already paid for them and am sort of stuck now. Really a drag reloading 1 magazine all the time. Almost considering getting rid of the pistol for that reason. Just bought it 1 month ago. Got 5 mags with my Ed Brown!

What size frame is the edge? You could probably get another brand like SA, Kimber, and Wilson might even have 9mm mags that will fit. Unless you're set on the STI brand. I have a STI 9mm Guardian on layaway now, I think it takes the same as the SA EMP.

My Edge is a full size, 2011 double stack. 5" slide. Seems like I can get mags for all my other 1911s w/o any problem. This one, real bummer!!

or Dawsons or Shooters Connection or any other STI dealer. lf you need mags, I'm sure you can find them elsewhere. Cancel you order with your current dealer, after you get them from another vendor or just order a few more mags from someone else and keep your current order open.

I was under the impression that the Edge will take any 2011 mag? You can get 120/140/170mm if you want.
If you're not shooting competitions and don't need them tuned (or don't want to spend the money) you can just buy additional STI ones. http://shootersconnectionstore.com/S...ity--P796.aspx No idea why you would want to get rid of the gun because you can't find mags...there are a LOT of places that sell 2011 magazines.

STI 2011 mags
You can also try www.brazoscustom.com. They always have had a good supply of STI 2011 mags, and have good customer service.

Thanks for all the replies guys. Gonna cancel my order with the dealer I bought the STI from and try another source. Hopefully this guy will refund the money I already sent him. I think he should have told me they were on back-order before I sent him the dough. If I have any problems with a refund I will let everyone know who he is so no one else falls for his scam.
