22 conversion kit

Do they make a .22 conversion kit for a compact RIA 1911?

Just looking to expand my single firearm options, you know in case the zombies come grad one gun but with the conversion you actually have 2.

I already have a .22 pistol, i like the conversions because you get 2 types of ammo for the same gun.Sort of like a .357s ability to use .38spl

I put a Tactical Solutions 22 conversion on a ATI Titan frame and just love it.

I may be wrong, but i havent seen a kit made specifically for a compact.

A regular conversion should work....but you will be left with a gap between the frame & slide at the dustcover with a 5" slide and the mags will hang out of the frame.

Yes on the mag and no on the gap.
