Mark III Hunter
Any of you guys shooting the Mark III Hunter? How do you like it. I am thinking about buying one of these.

This really belongs in a rimfire section, but we don't seem to have one. To answer your question, you would be very happy with the hunter. I have had very good luck with the Ruger semi auto pistols. Love them.

I've been wanting to get one as well.
I love ruger and I've only heard good things about the mark IIIs

the real question is what barrel size to get?
i was thinking a 5.5in barrel.

what do you guys think?

Not exactly what you asked, but I have a MKII stainless with 5.5 inch bull barrel and I love it.

The 5.5 inch barrel balances very well for me.

This Ruger replaced a tapered 6 7/8" blued target model which was accurate but I like the bull barrel more. (didn't care for the barrel band front sight on the tapered barrel model.) Both pistols are accurate and reliable.

We get pretty good accuracy from the MK3 standard. We have a blast with it. And I really like the old school look.
