First 1911 - RCS - and question - update

Hi all,

Well I finally purchased my first 1911. Sig RCS two tone. Such a pretty gun, couldn't help but buy it. I overpaid, but I don't care.

I have a question, I notice that when there is no magazine inserted, the slide is quite loose on the frame. If I rock my hand back and forth it rattles some. It is better with a magazine in place, but still seems "loose." How much frame/slide play is normal in a new gun?
