Went to a gun show here in Dallas over the weekend. I asked one of the vendors there about SR availability.
Guy said he had 3 coming in next week. 1 was already sold, the other 2 were available.
Also said he was selling them at MSRP. $799

I can hold out. I have my Springfield Lightweight Operator to tie me over.

I was able to pick mine up at Sportsman Warehouse in lex ky for $699
They have been receiving about one a week in the Sunday delivery shipments.
You might want to check first thing Monday.

I hear that Whittaker Guns in Owensboro, KY has had a few trickle in and have sold them almost immediately. Their price is/was $599 + tax.

I was in one of my local gun shops today, and they had a SR1911 in the case. As I was looking to make sure I was seeing correctly (this one shop is in a rural area, and they rarely have stuff that is real new or in hot demand) one of the salesman reached in and pulled it. I asked him if it was sold and he said yeah...I asked him how long they had had it, and he said about an hour...it was priced $719. This shop doesn't usually take a waiting list, so it is first come, first serve...someone just happened to call to check to see if they had it.

I'm glad I got mine when I did...I still don't see them in the shops I visit. I did notice that on Academy Sports' website they have them listed for sale. I don't know if they actually have them in stock.
