Just got these beauties put on my Colt today. I'm the third generation in my family to own this Colt Series 70 and thought that it would be a nice touch to get a set of grips made with my family crest but had a hard time finding anyone that could make them, never mind without costing a small fortune. I found Matt in this section of the forum not too long ago and after a few e-mails back and forth he was able to make exactly what I was looking for. Double diamond design with my family crest and some nice checking to fill in the rest on a beautiful dark rosewood. They look awesome, fit perfectly, and feel great in my hands. If there's anyone out there looking for a set of custom grips that look beautiful and won't cost a fortune I highly recommend Matt and DSP Laser.

that looks pretty cool. Can you post a closer picture of the grips? I've been thinking of getting something like that myself for my BBQ gun.

I'm glad that I got a chance to provide you with the grips. I had no idea that we were enhancing a family tradition.
