Wiley Clapp Ruger GP-100
Does anyone know how to get on the list for the TALO Distributors
"Wiley Clapp Special Edition" Riger GP-100 ? I understand that there will be only 2,000 units available. ![]() ![]()

Nice. I guess the old saying that you cant polish a turd was wrong. Built like a tank with nice sights...how smooth will the action be? A tuned S&W it will never be..says yoda

Bob from TALO was very helpful in locating a Colt TALO 1911 for me via CAMFOUR Guns Distributor. You may want to contact CAMFOUR and if they have it, go to your LGS and negotiate a price, then have them provide CAMFOUR with their FFL and arrange transfer.

![]() Love my pre-lock, pre-MIM S&W's (almost as much as my Colts ), but Ruger builds some nice handguns and if I was looking for something current, well. . .

Just got mine about 2 weeks ago and got to shoot in last weekend. Loaded the cylinder with 6 rounds of cheap WWB, walked up to the 10 yard line, cocked the hammer.....boom, just slighly below the center of my 3" shoot'n'see! Oh wow, nice...keep shooting though. All six of that first cylinder ended up touching each other in the target to make one ragged hole. Did I mention how well it handles and feels in my hand? Well, very nice thank you.
While it may not exude the same class and character as my model 19 or my detective special, it is definitely a very nice revolver.....one I will be keeping. |

I'm not wild about the front sight...I am really thinking about having it changed to a tritium night sight. Otherwise, I like this revolver. |

Excellent! I have one of the 3" GPs with no rear sight, just the trough like on a J frame. I've always thought it would be nice to have that fixed rear sight like you guys have. I'm jealous. My GP was a police trade in, trigger is nice and smooth, shoots well, stronger than my K frame. What's not to like?

I hope none of them turn out with a forcing cone that looks like it was cut with a rusty auger...like mine.
