P220 firing pin replacement - New one doesnt fit.

The problem is that the new firing pin from top-gun supply does not match the original firing pin on my P220 (1991 carbon steel slide).
The original firing pin is a bit longer and overall the cuts do not line up.
Any suggestions?

* The firing pin for a stainless steel slide is completely different, of course.

A couple of pictures that show the difference between the original and the replacement. The original protrudes further from the breech block.
