The "colt " right above the grip is a dead giveaway.

Is it after 5 out there on the left coast?

Some FAKES look good. But it does look like they made at least 19 of them. Prob not a fake, just a mistake.

The OP is from Mexico......alot of stuff like that down there.

The scarface premise kinda sickens me, however, especially during this latest round of drug gangs, child prostitution, sickening violence, human trafficking......and all else that goes on south of the border, spilling northwards.

All in all.....a very, very FUGLY thing to do to a Colt.

I want a Walt Kowalski (Clint Eastwood's character from Gran Turino) custom 1911. It could have "GET OFF MY LAWN" engraved as a rollmark on the slide.

I've seen this gun before. Or rather these guns. It is sold by one of the U.S. distributors as a collectable gun commemorating the movie and the character. There is a Tony Montana video game out there called "The world is yours" which is a line from the movie.

On another forum the OP here has said that this gun comes from Culiacan, Sinaloa. Could be, note the tiny GI sights on this slide and a few other oddities.

About a year ago at a gun show I saw a near identical gun, with current style Colt fixed sights and the Scarface theme and profile on the top of the slide. It was in a box from some distributor.

Scarface stuff sells. Posters, hoodies, video games, etc. A Scarface commemorative would sell as well. Kids like that stuff.

Down in Mexico, that pistol is just blending in.
