You could cut the tip off a bit to get rid of the offending part, I think, and it should still work fine.

The same with the sight set screw...especially when there is Tritium in a sight. That's asking for loosening the vial if an adjustment is ever needed. On Grips, I just have a tightness that I feel. My thoughts are it only takes a few seconds to tighten a grip panel up should it go loose, but it takes a lot more effort to replace a grip panel if it were to crack. Take care, Bob |
