Jon Kirk knife

Anybody know anything about this knifemaker: Jon Kirk?

20+ years ago while vacationing in Missouri at Silver Dollar City I bought a small bladed hunting/caping knife from Jon Kirk. It has been in a box ever since then because I've moved a fair amount. The other night I came across this knife and wonder whatever happened to the maker and if anybody knows anything about his products.
