Love the look and feel of this pistol, but have heard more bad than good about it. Any feelings?

I love mine, although it is back at the factory at there request. Pistol shoots and functions great. I had some concern over wear, where barrel first makes contact with frame when shooting. I sent them pictures at there request, they sent me RA# so they could look at. My local LGS said this was a common problem on most everyones alloy frames.
As I said weapon works fine, its my everyday CC.sure do miss it.
One more thing my son rest fired 19 rds at 25 yds it was 2 in high and 1 and 1/2 to the right in a 3 in circle. That is darn good at 25 yds with 3in barrel.
Buy it.
