Rz10 start shipping when???

I am really wanting to get an RZ10 when they come out. My LGS said they have a couple expected to come in when ever they start to ship. Just don't know when that is.

Anyone have any info?

i would not hold my breath dan wesson aka cz usa seems constantly slow getting guns to market, they show them off at shot then make us wait.

truthfully i think they are at the mercy of the coating companies and other sub contractors and they only build what they have parts for.
my eco i have on order is slated for late april early may but i'll be happy if i'm shooting it on the 4th of july.

Back in January, I was told by the company I pre-ordered one from that the earliest they expect the 2012 RZ-10's to ship is late March.

Exactly. There was word that they might be having issues with getting parts from their supplier(s) on time. So, late March is only a tentative ETA.

I called Dan Wesson today, as I am also waiting for a RZ10.
They said they were being shipped to CZ.

There's a 2012 RZ-10 on gunbroker. I take that as a pretty good sign that we'll be receiving ours in the not-too-distant future.

The only one I see is an 09 model.

How do you know it's an '09 model?

Hmmm... interesting, considering the item description. Item condition is listed as "Factory New", when, if it is in fact a '09 model, it should be listed as "New Old Stock".

I waited and waited for the new ones but instead just bought a nice used pre-CZ RZ-10. I don't know how the pre-CZ's stack up to post CZ production, as this is my first DW. I'm pretty unknowledgable about the brand as a whole. I have heard that DW has good customer service, so I bought with confidence knowing that they could help me if I ran into issues. I saved a little cash and it's a nice shooter, not to mention a heafty gun. Tank-like come to mind.

My only issue now would be the temptation of finding a good deal on a new production one. Then I would have to compare...

Not sure if you've seen this thread http://forums.1911forum.com/showthread.php?t=130599 but it has info regarding the differences in RZ models of various years/serial numbers.

I heard from someone that I consider to be a reliable source, that the ECO's are shipping in May. I would expect these to be around there also. Take it for what it's worth, and remember what you paid for it......

The owner of my LGS told me that only 50 RZ-10's are gonna be produced. Not sure if this is true, but if it is then they are gonna be HARD to come by. He said that he was told this at the SHOT show.

I was told the same thing by the CZ-USA representative when I called them in late December. Hence why many of us here have pre-ordered them.

Yes this is true. I'm hoping for some pointman 9's this fall. Maybe I can get a 10mm next year. That's my hope.

My LGS received 2 RZ-10's this afternoon. They knew I was wanting one and held one back for me until I came in. Of course I had to bring it home. The other one is on hold for another customer.

Ran some handloads through the RZ-10 with the wilson full length GR system with SB I had on my colt.It ran flawles with the same 4 o-clock ejection.8.7 grains power pistol under 180 xtp's shot 1 and 1 third inch at 25 yards perfectly centered.155 xtp's shot well and 180 oregon trail shot 1 and a half inch at 25 yards with 6 grains WSF.I've shot around 10 different loads and none went over 2 and a half inch. Some were 7 shot but most 5 shot.1 and a half inch groups are the norm with this pistol.I noticed a small scuff starting on the other side of the slide now. There is a little slack in the frame slide fit.Maybe I'll polish that part of the slide to match the flats if it looks too obvious later on.The pistol is plenty accurate and ran perfect from the start.I think the RZ-10 is a fine pistol. The recoil doesn't bother me at all.It feels better than my Colt combat delta 10 with the old school grip and thumb safety. The low wide GS on it kept my hand from getting higher up like the better grip feel of the RZ.It's too bad colt doesn't have the same set up on their 10mm's.I'm glad I was able to get my RZ-10.
