New guy from va

Hey everybody. I'm from the Shenandoah valley area of va. I've been interested in firearms all my life and have been an avid glock and ar shooter for a while. It wasn't till I dug my fathers 30 year old llama out of his safe that I really started to look at the 1911's. I'm looking to start off small and get into a RIA tact two tone and see where that ends up. I'm sure with everything else it's addicting and expensive.
