Agreed. Possible fly in the ointment.... seems the $1200 was erroneous.... figure more like $2200 .... ouch

Saw something elsewhere that only 210 guns are being imported.
The price in Germany was 1700+ Euros. Quote:

I would be interested in it if they made it reasonably priced and made it available in 45 ACP. Now that would be one bad A$$ gun.

Then it is NOT a SIG P210. Much like saying "let's take the 1911 and make it SA/DA and rechamber it for .40S&W".
I remember an article about the P 210 made for the W German border guard, I think, in "Guns & Ammo" back around '79 or so. The slide release on that gun cost something around $400 by itself. I knew nothing about SIG at the time, but I fell in love right there. I couldn't afford it then, I can now but other things usually get in the way. |

You pay for quality as it takes TIME to put one together. I have seen some (old and slightly worn) versions on Gunbroker with plastic grips for as low as $1800 lately... and really good shape ones for up to $3200. Figuring that the X5 L1's are well over $2000 I would expect the same price point for the 210's...
and yes, I am interested
