How much "emergency" ammo do you keep in storage, I'm talking about ammo you don't touch or take to the range. 500 rounds? 1000? more? Just curious.

Color me paranoid, but that is not something we should be broadcasting, given the current political climate. We don't know who is lurking here.

340 rds .223/5.56
400 rds 45ACP
40 rds 30-30 Win
60 rds 12 ga 00 buck
80 rds 38SPL (30rds shotshell)
I do not plan on a range trip any time soon and I was lucky that I have the cash today to buy 300rds of 45ACP.

And I've got more loaded of other calibers I just cant remember what calibers I've got.
Each 1 listed though is fully loaded except for the 300 blk out and more brass either here or coming in.

I try to keep at least a couple of dozen rounds close at hand!

You never know what is going to happen.

I live in California so I don't actually own guns, shoot, reload, or stockpile anything especially lead. If you happen to see something its actually just a figment of your imagination. ;)

I used to have thousands of all the calibers I shot, then that got pretty much depleted when prices skyrocketed 4 years ago. I still buy it by the case, but I don't "stockpile" like I used to. I just shoot what I have, then order another case.

"Buy it cheap and stack it deep" was my motto, only problem is you can't buy it cheap anymore...
