Kimber ruined a new slide for me like that.. I sent a two week old slide in for a sight problem and it came back with the front of the slide badly scratched and the rear sight hanging half way out...

I like them as well. It takes a little tuning to get them running on target/light loads.. Get your mags while you can, they are getting pricey..
