I get 3-4k using medium loads before the cycle...

I get 3-4k using medium loads before the cycle speed is noticeably slower with an 18.5# spring but generally 5k before I see the occasional FTRB. Generally I change it around 3k when I detail clean....

I've been using Wilson mags for almost 20 years so I'm definitely a fanboy. That said, if the Kimber mags are reliable then I'd probably just stick with those.

At least with the Wilson 47s, the 7 round spring follower kits use the rounded follower and the 8 round mags use the other. I figured the difference was to allow the extra round in the 8 round mag.

Good stuff. I'd also make sure the extractor is not clocking. That will definitely cause it to lose the case rim and eject erratically. Checking for clocking and extractor tension won't cost anything...
