I don't have a Guardian but do have a CBOB 45. They're basically the same size with a government sized frame and commander slide/barrel. Of course the Guardian is alloy and the CBOB is stainless.

The finish on that Valor is NOT "duty coat!" That disappeared when DW switched to a "duty treatment" in 2010. Ferritic nitrocarburizing metal...
