I have 25K+ on one TRS and never broke a MS pin. Original in place.

I carry Ed Brown pin sets in my repair kit. I expect to drop & loose or fling a pin into space before breaking one.

HST+P is a good choice for a carry round. I've never had an issue with reliability in several guns. A 100 rounds is a good place to start. No hiccups with loading, reloading, double & triple taps....

I have never felt the need to carry 10 rd magazines on duty. In gun or on belt; the extra length hanging out while behind the wheel; sitting down and just moving around would drive me nuts.
