12 recoil, 19 mainspring. 19 is about as light as I like to go on the mainspring. I've had guns fail to light primers after enough rounds downrange on a lighter mainspring.

Each bullet has to squeeze up by the slide stop. This is something I see a lot in the .4x caliber STIs. Generally, putting a bevel on the slide stop will fix it.

I've never been one to complain about bluing. What bothers me more is when an expensive finish is factory applied, you get the gun, and then find 8 things you need to change.

It functioned perfectly with my reloads (124gr LRN @ 1050fps) and the factory mag, Wilson ETM and Tripp 10-rounders. The trigger was about 5 pounds...

All the springs have to work together to some extent, mag springs and extractor among them... heck, even the plunger spring. If one is way off, you're going to have problems.
